Let's Strike Up Some Fun,  Bowling Fundraiser

On Sunday March 1st, 2015, The Natalia Elizondo Foundation held a fundraiser at Bathurst Bowlerama at Bathurst and Lawrence for fun filled day of bowling and pizza. Full bowling lanes, smiles, the smell of pizza and the sound of laughter, the event was a HUGE success!  We couldn't have asked for a better turn out! All funds raised in event tickets and raffles is going towards a scholarship for a student in need.

The Caravan of Hope

On October 28th, 2014 family and friends once again gathered at the San Lorenzo Church to see the second Caravan of Hope off. This Caravan of Hope included a school bus in memory of Natalia.  This school was donated by the Elizondo family and sent to Juarez Mexico to get children to and from school.  As Juarez is filled with poverty and violence, the Elizondo family felt that this was another great opportunity to contribute in a way that Natalia would love.  Now children in this area will be driven to and from school with our loving Natalia right on the side of the bus!

The Natalia Elizondo First Annual Walk & BBQ

This was our very first BIG event.  This event was held on Sunday October 26th, 2014 at Ashbridges Bay in Toronto Ontario. For $25 per person, everyone was able to come out, have some lunch, enjoy the beautiful weather and take a walk along the boardwalk.  Friends and family gathered on this day to remember Natalia and raise funds that were donated to an anti-bullying organization, #ItsCoolToHaveAnAccent.   This is an organization that was created to stop bullying in schools.    Bullying is something that Natalia once experienced in her childhood and was firmly against.  In fact,  #ItsCoolToHaveAnAccent is planning to speak at the school Natalia attended for grade seven and eight to educate the children about the serious consequences of bullying.  A psychologist will speak to the children, in a kind and inspirational way to educate them and make them aware of the everlasting pain that stays with children who experience bullying.  The children will learn about Natalia and what an important person she is to all of us.

Together we are spreading Natalia’s love and friendship to a new generation of children

The Caravan of Hope

On January 17th, 2014 family and friends gathered at the San Lorenzo Church to see the Caravan of Hope off.  The Caravan of Hope included an Ambulance in memory of Natalia.  This ambulance was donated by the Elizondo family and sent to El Salvador to assist in much needed transporation to local hospitals. Sadly, in this rural area, ambulances are only available to the rich and unless you can afford this "luxary", you are on your own for transporation and many people are dying for this reason alone.
